Light:
- Bright. indirect light is ideal. Can tolerate some direct sun. but too much will scorch the leaves.
- An east or west-facing window is perfect.
Water:
- Allow the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry out before watering thoroughly.
- It's better to underwater than overwater this plant. as it is sensitive to staying soggy.
- Reduce watering in winter when growth slows down.
Soil:
- A well-draining soil mixture is important. Use a potting mix for indoor plants amended with perlite or pumice.
- Soil should never become or remain soggy.
Temperature:
- Average warm household temperatures of 65-80°F (18-27°C) are ideal.
- Avoid cold drafts and heating vents.
Humidity:
- It can tolerate average household humidity levels.
- However. higher humidity of 40-50% will help prevent leaf edges from browning.
