Monstera Minima Mos

Here are some tips for caring for a Monstera minima (also called Mini Monstera or Rhaphidophora tetrasperma):
 
Light:
- Bright. indirect light is ideal. Can tolerate medium light but avoid direct sun.
- An east or north-facing window is a good spot.
 
Water:
- Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry.
- Allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. but don't let it go completely dry.
- Increase water slightly in spring/summer months.
 
Soil:
- Use a well-draining potting mix made for houseplants.
- Add perlite or orchid bark to improve drainage.
 
Temperature:
- Prefers average warm household temperatures between 65-85°F.
- Avoid cold drafts.
 
Humidity: 
- Benefits from higher humidity levels. around 50% or more if possible.
- Use a pebble tray or mist the leaves regularly.
 
Fertilizer:
- Feed every 2-3 months during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half-strength.
 
Pruning:
- Prune off dead or damaged leaves/stems as needed.
- Can trim to control size and shape.
 
Repotting:
- Repot every 1-2 years in spring when rootbound. using a container 1-2" wider.
 
With bright indirect light. humid conditions and well-draining soil. the Mini Monstera makes an excellent low-maintenance houseplant.
