Sansevieria cylindrica. also known as the Cylindrical Snake Plant or African Spear Plant. is a unique succulent with tall. cylindrical leaves. Here are some care tips:

 

Light:

- It can tolerate a wide range of light conditions from bright. indirect light to direct sun.

- In lower light. the leaves may stretch and lose their cylinder shape.

- Rotate the plant periodically to prevent lopsided growth.

 

Water:

- Allow the soil to completely dry out between waterings. It's drought tolerant.

- In general. water every 2-3 weeks in the growing season and even less in winter.

- Err on the side of underwatering rather than overwatering.

 

Soil:

- Use a well-draining cactus/succulent potting mix.

- You can add extra perlite or sand to improve drainage.

 

Temperature:

- Sansevieria cylindrica does best in average household temperatures of 65-85°F (18-29°C).

- It can tolerate temperatures as low as 50°F (10°C) in winter.

 

Humidity:

- It thrives in average household humidity conditions of 30-50%.

- No need to mist or provide extra humidity.

 

Fertilizer:

- Feed in spring and summer every 6-8 weeks with a diluted succulent fertilizer.

- No feeding is needed in winter when growth is minimal.
