Calathea plants are popular for their beautiful, vibrant foliage and are a great addition to a terrarium. Here are some general care guidelines for Calathea plants:

1. Light: Calatheas prefer bright, indirect light. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight as it can scorch their leaves. A north or east-facing window is usually ideal.

2. Temperature: Calatheas thrive in temperatures between 60-75°F (15-24°C). Avoid exposure to cold drafts or sudden temperature changes.

3. Humidity: These plants love high humidity levels, which makes them well-suited for terrariums that naturally create a humid environment. You can also increase humidity by placing the terrarium on a tray filled with water or using a humidifier nearby.

4. Watering: Keep the soil evenly moist but not soaking wet. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering again to avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot.

5. Soil: Calatheas prefer well-draining soil that retains moisture but doesn't become waterlogged.
